Hey guys, this is SEO Floyd. I'd like to welcome you back. In this training I'm going to go over our intake form, or our intake document. The purpose of this is going to be you have already closed the client, you've already signed the contract, and the next step is for them to get you all the information that you need in order to launch their campaign. If you're following my training you know you need all kinds of information from them, so you can do your citations and set up your website properly, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. To make this easier for you and easier as a process ... I hope you guys appreciate the value in what I'm providing here because this really is going to help you scale so much faster than if you didn't have this. I can't tell you how many businesses, even SEO agencies, some smaller ones, that don't have an automated process for this. It blows my mind, they do everything by hand. This is one of those things that's going to get you up and going quick and it's going to allow you to maximize your time.
What you're going to do is I have created a Gravity Form plugin and I've made it accessible to you through the Facebook group in the files section. There's also some video training on this, on how to upload it, but basically it's going to take you 5-10 minutes to upload this Gravity Form to your website and then after you've got a new client, your on boarding process all you do is simply send them to this form. If you see here: business name, address, phone number, fax, website address, categories for your citations, all the different things, your office hours. If you look through here it has everything. Upload your logo, upload your photos, videos if they've got them, so what this has got here is everything that you need in order to launch their campaign. If they fill out this form in completion then you will have that you need. You see here? WordPress login, all of their various logins for their social accounts, all that kind of stuff.
Again, they've paid you and you send them the link to this page and you make sure that you tell them that incomplete submissions will not be accepted. They can't come in here and give you one thing and then come back and give you another thing, make sure that you understand, or that they understand, that that is not acceptable. Not acceptable. When they go to this form they need to be prepared to submit all the information at once. Guys, this is part of training your clients. One of the keys to being a one man gang or to being able to successfully scale a one person SEO business to six figures or seven figures is being able to manage your clients properly. Remember that the way that you treat them in the beginning and the way that you establish the relationship is going to set the tone for the entire relationship.
My clients, after I get the check, I send them here and I tell them, "You need to submit this fully. Once this is fully submitted then I will begin your project." If there's one thing missing I will not begin their project. You need to get used to training your clients to work within your process because if you don't let me tell you what's going to happen. What's going to happen is you're going to be so excited about the new client and they're going to say, "Oh, well, I tell you what. I don't have our logo, so Bob's got the logo so I'll just, I'll have Bob send you an email, and I don't have the logins to our Facebook page. Sally's got that so I'll tell Sally to..." What happens is you've got this giant cluster of crap wasting your time. You could literally spend hours and hours and hours and hours and hours and hours and multiple emails and phone calls trying to collect all of this information, chasing your client. Don't do it.
People want to know how people like me and Cotton can scale our businesses so successfully and handle so many clients at one time. This is part of that solution. We make them to work within our process, the way that we want things. If you start them off with the discovery form like in a previous training and refuse to work with them if they don't fill it out completely and then move on to this, you're training your client basically not to waste your time. They're going to work within your process, you're not going to work with theirs.
Let me give you an example, if this is confusing to you. When you go in and you apply for new phone service with the phone company, you don't do things the way you want it done, you do things the way the phone company requires you to do it. If you want to pay with a check and they require a credit card, guess what? You're going to have to pay with a credit card. Right? If they want you name, address, phone number, blood type, social security card, whatever they want you're going to give it to them. They're not going to discuss it or debate it with you. What they require is what they require and so you simply submit and that's what we're doing here. It's not a negative thing, it's actually better for both parties. It's better for you and it's better for your client if you both understand who's in charge of the relationship right from the outset.
Guys, again, back to this. This is something again that's really going to make this fast for you so what I've given you now, I've given you the ability to successfully have all the information you need to pre-qualify your clients with the discovery form and now I've given you a very quick, easy way to get all the information you need to launch your clients. Both of these things will make it where you can get your SEO client business much smoother and much more quickly.
As I mentioned in the previous training for the discovery form, I made these forms, they work for most people most of the time. If you're having technical issues with it, it probably has something to do with your hosting or your theme or a conflicting plugin. We can't support that, there's no possible way we can support that so if you have followed the instructions and it's not working feel free to reach out on the Facebook group and maybe someone can help you but don't feel like that's something that we owe you or that you paid for. This is completely just extra stuff but, again, that being said, it works for most of the people most of the time. There's over two hundred members in this course and most people in the course have been able to successfully install these and get them running.
